How Do You Know the One You're With IS the One?

That's right. How do you know the one you're with IS the one?

To be fair, I'll start off with a bit of information regarding myself:


I am a 24-year-old woman who is thinking about marriage. I don't always know for sure whether or not he is the one. However, sometimes, I believe that he really is. I believe that God sent him to be a part of my life to help me get through some of the toughest times in my life. I don't know how else I would've gone through it if he wasn't there for me. Granted, he is not always able to be there for me; but I know that I also need to be able to survive on my own. Because of him, I have learned to love. I can be myself around him, show him every side of me (the good and the horrible), and grow as a person. Neither of us is perfect, but I believe that we do truly love one another and that we help each other become better people. We make each other happy and prioritizes the other person before ourselves.

However, isn't this usually how every relationship starts off? Doesn't everyone get married thinking and feeling this way, but then somewhere down the road, things change and the relationship falls apart? How do you know for sure that your relationship won't?
